Admission Timeline 2026
Further rounds: If eligible candidates remain on the waitlist, the University may, at its sole discretion, conduct subsequent round(s) of admission to fill vacant seats.
Eligibility: NCET 2026 is Mandatory
Candidates must have appeared in NCET 2026 (conducted by NTA) in the Subject(s) specified for the particular programme of study. Before registering, verify your subject combination, intake and eligibility criteria in Annexure-1 of the official notification. Uploading the marksheet of the qualifying examination on the SAMARTH Portal is compulsory; without valid proof of passing, the candidature will not be considered.
10 Rules Every Candidate Must Know
- Separate fee per programme: applying for both B.A. B.Ed. and B.Sc. B.Ed. means paying the registration fee for each application individually.
- Complete documents mandatory: incomplete applications or applications without the requisite Annexure-3 documents will not be considered.
- Cut-offs only on cusb.ac.in: programme-wise cut-off marks for every round are notified on the official University website.
- Seat blocking is not admission: mere registration or fee payment guarantees nothing; admission follows strict merit, eligibility and verification.
- Tie-breaker rule: equal NCET scores are resolved by qualifying exam CGPA/marks, then by seniority in age; a declared result is preferred over an awaited one.
- Waitlist runs automatically: fee-paying candidates not admitted in a round stay in the merit-wise waitlist for vacancies till the process closes.
- Refund after October 2026: the Admission Fee is refunded to the original payment mode if admission is not granted; the registration fee is never refunded.
- Cancellation only via SAMARTH Portal: email or phone requests are rejected; once cancelled, the candidature is permanently removed with no re-registration claim.
- Pending documents by 31.10.2026: candidates who upload an undertaking (Annexure-4) must submit all pending documents by this date, failing which admission is cancelled.
- False information = cancellation: forged or fabricated documents lead to immediate cancellation and forfeiture of the Admission Fee.
Good to know: Reservation under the CW Quota (5% supernumerary) applies only to programmes where permitted by the concerned regulatory body. Hostel facility is available subject to seats; indicate your preference (Yes/No) in the SAMARTH form. Hostel queries: dsw@cusb.ac.in.
