Each programme has a specific Question Paper Code (QP Code) prescribed by the University. A candidate must have appeared in the correct QP Code applicable to the programme of choice, in addition to meeting the prescribed academic qualifications.

Pro Tip: Before registering, carefully review Annexure-II (Programme-wise Eligibility Criteria) and Annexure-III (relevant QP Codes of CUET PG 2026) of the official CUSB notification. Candidates who have not appeared in the correct QP Code for their chosen programme will not be considered for the merit list, regardless of their CUET score.

Important Points to Remember

1. Fee payment does not guarantee admission: Mere payment of the Admission Fee for blocking the seat does not guarantee admission to the programme. Admission is granted strictly in order of merit, subject to the fulfilment of eligibility criteria, document verification, and availability of seats.

2. Tie-breaking criteria: If two or more candidates secure the same CUET (PG) 2026 score, the CGPA or marks obtained in the qualifying examination will be considered for determining merit. If these are also identical (or the result is yet to be declared for both), preference will be given to the candidate senior in age.

3. Appearing candidates can apply: Candidates whose qualifying degree result has not yet been declared may also apply. However, such admissions will remain provisional, and the result or proof of having passed the qualifying degree must be produced at the time of physical verification. All pending documents must be submitted on or before 31 October 2026.

4. Refund policy: If a candidate fails to secure admission by the conclusion of the admission process, the Admission Fee deposited for blocking the seat will be refunded. The refund process will be initiated after October 2026 and credited to the same bank account or payment mode used for the original transaction. The registration fee (₹500 / ₹200) is non-refundable under all circumstances.

5. Cancellation policy: Cancellation or withdrawal of admission must be done only through the SAMARTH Portal. Requests received via email, phone call, or any other mode will not be entertained. Once cancelled, the candidature is removed from the merit list and waitlist, and no claim for re-registration will be considered thereafter.
